The Golden Horn Ranch Estates

UPDATE: As of 9/01/12 we are sold out of all of our estate home sites in the Golden Horn Ranch # 1 & # 2. This follows our success with the Big Sky Estates subdivisions. Thank you to all of our customers and consultants for making these projects such an incredible success story!

The Golden Horn Ranch Estate Subdivisions are located along Antares Road, approximately one and a half driving hours southeast of fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada and just twenty driving minuets from down town Kingman, Arizona. The excitement of full wager casinos in Laughlin, Nevada are a short thirty minute drive directly across the Colorado River from Bullhead City, Arizona.

The Golden Horn Ranch I & II subdivisions are residentially zoned (AR-1) and are subdivided into 2.5 acre estate home sites. Antares road provides dirt road access thru the subdivisions and extends from Route 66 to the Lake Mead reservoir. There are no utilities on site but there are many ranches in the area that have improved their properties  water wells, septic systems and solar panels. The nearest completed Master Planned development, the Valle Vista Country Club, is only four miles away and offers a challenging golf experience.

There are two specific events that we expect to positively affect the future values of the Golden Horn Ranch subdivisions.

The first event is the construction completion of the Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge in 2011.

The second event is the ground breaking construction of the Hualapai Solar plant proposed for 2013.

The Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge is a multi million dollar joint project between the States of Nevada and Arizona. The completed bridge will span the Colorado river, drastically reducing the drive time from Kingman, Arizona to Las Vegas, Nevada providing a direct truck route for the Canamex highway which is the major trade route between Canada, the US and Mexico.

The Hoover Dam Bypass Bridge has been the catalyst for a modern day “land rush” in North West Arizona as developers scramble to push thru plans for master planned communities designed for those home owners that choose to live in Arizona and work in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Golden Horn Ranch subdivisions are located in close proximity to the planned community of "Peacock Vistas".

The Hualapai Solar Plant is one of the largest proposed solar facilities in the world with planned construction on Antares Road. In February of 2012 the Mohave County Planning and Zoning Board voted to approve the solar facilites' General Plan amendment and the specific site plan. To initiate construction, Antares Road is expected to be paved with city utilities bringing those improvements thru the Golden Horn Ranch subdivisions.

The Proposed Hualapai Solar Plant

The Golden Horn Ranch subdivisions are located app. four miles from the proposed site construction of the Hualapai Solar facilities on Antares Road. Several new residential subdivisions, medical centers and a fire station are clustered about the area of Route 66 and Antares Road.
